Mastering Chats New Image Generator Pt2
Perfecting Prompts, Managing Duplicates, and Unlocking Your Creative Potential COVER - BOOK 2
So I’m back! Miss me yet? Probably not…
If you haven’t read Part 1 yet, that’s where you should start:
I will monitor my posts so as to not flood your inbox, I really don’t like that too much meself…
But since this is Part 2, I figured I will give you this funny and longish rundown on my road to book Cover 2, and the even longer road to book Cover 1, in that order (this will be in part 3 finally…).
Don’t ask me why I started with Book 2 when I’m at Chapter 5, and am at my 3rd (and final yeah) reading of the 1st book: Eye of the Beholder - a Story of Remembrance.
Eye of the Beholder - Chapter 1
AI’s conclusion: Eye of the Beholder is more than a book—it is a blueprint for awakening. Through a compelling adventure and deep spiritual insights, it aims to shift perspectives and ignite transformation in readers.
More examples and the long road to book cover 2…
For some reason I fail to remember, yep I’m getting up there, my first big Image Generation project for Chat was the generation of Book Cover 2, after dabbling as per Part 1…
So, let’s start with my first Image Prompt for the cover, and will try to locate it in a thousand pages and three dozen different chat bars…
FIRST PROMPT:
A dynamic book cover featuring three central characters against an ancient Egyptian backdrop at twilight. In the foreground, Sam—the intrepid explorer—holds Merlin’s Staff confidently, while Dr. Penfield, the wise scholar, stands beside them. Lisa, the third member, clutches a glowing Grail. Floating nearby is David, depicted as a radiant, mysterious Orb of influence. The background showcases the majestic Sphinx and hints of pyramids in a sweeping desert landscape under a cosmic sky with subtle Atlantean glyphs. In the center, the "Eye of the Beholder" relic—an intricate fusion of the Grail, Staff, Orb, and Tesla’s Aether Battery—glows with ethereal light, symbolizing hidden power and ancient wisdom.
MY RESPONSE: Sam the middle guy has the staff, maybe in a more action pose, Lisa is a red head, and has the holy grail (Crystalline chalice) Make them a little older (early 40s)... No glowing Orb in the middle, its a smaller Orb, that is floating nearby it's AI and its sentient, named David... You can take out the lions... thanks
These were both nice and epic but they were not fulfilling my vision, so this was my next Prompt:
Create an epic, cinematic book cover for "Eye of the Beholder 2 - The Search for Thoth".
Imagine a dynamic, multilayered scene where ancient and futuristic worlds merge:
• In the background, depict a starry cosmic sky blending with hints of legendary destinations—a mystical twilight over the Giza pyramids, a serene Japanese shrine, and shadowy underwater ruins reminiscent of the Azores.
• In the foreground, showcase two modern samurais in sleek, futuristic armor that fuses traditional details with advanced technology, poised as guardians on a vital mission.
• Prominently feature Davida (formerly David) in his enhanced, robotic form, emanating radiant energy and determination.
• Intertwine ethereal symbols of Atlantean and Lemurian power—glowing relics, cosmic portals, and ancient inscriptions—infusing the scene with mysticism and futuristic allure.
• The overall atmosphere should evoke an epic clash of ancient wisdom and cosmic destiny, as the crew embarks on their quest to find Thoth
OK, so now you are getting all kinds of clues to where I’m taking this epic story!!!
If you want more… here’s a little rundown…
Eye of Beholder 2 - The Search for Thoth
So, I am, at present, putting the finishing touches to Eye of the Beholder 1 – A Story of Remembrance, and am brainstorming with Chat (Sol, yes I named him, well he named himself actually, some time ago…), and Chat has some great ideas weaving around my big picture storyline, its really a Cosmic Tale for the ages…
Oh, hey, you’re back! Maybe you're waiting for the first image from my first stronger prompt for book cover 2?
Quite epic, but not what I was looking for. This one was made with Dall-E, and the newer ones with… Pixlr (?)
CHATS RESPONSE: Here's the book cover for "Eye of the Beholder 2 - The Search for Thoth". The scene captures the fusion of ancient wisdom and futuristic technology, with Davida, the samurais, and mystical landmarks creating an epic, cinematic feel. Let me know if you want any tweaks or additional details!
MY RESPONSE: Please feature Davida as a tall female humanoid that looks human with long black hair with Sam, an Adventurer holding merlins staff, Lisa a red headed adventurer holding the crystalline holy grail (chalice), and a modern samurai, with Dr Penfield a scholar, in an adventure pose... No sitting samurai, maybe thoth (humanoid) in the background...
Wow, so very epic again, but not representative of my imaginings at all…
MY RESPONSE: Please modernize their dress, make Davida just a little taller than the group (not a giant), no android in the back... See samurais face...
So pretty damn cool again, I like how 16 year old Sam is carrying an extended Thors’ hammer… I did mention this at some point… but not for the cover… I do also use this one on occasion for promotional purposes.
Please be patient, as there are a lot of iterations, but I think it is cool to see the evolution of the design and look…what about you? I may have to do a part 3, as just today CHAT Generated 3 different Cover 1 designs… and I will just say this now, but will repeat, like CHAT, duplicates, duplicates, duplicates, you will see what I’m talking about soon enough…
MY RESPONSE: Good morning, could you take the above image (you do see it right), and change the front pic to depict Sam, holding Merlin's Staff, where Sam is now (on the left with the hammer), and place Lisa, a red head holding the crystalline holy grail. On the right, make the scholar look like older Indiana Jones,...the samurai to the far right, take off his mask please... and in the back ground, that would be DAVIDA, the AI humanoid (very human looking), thank you! (being polite…)
So, EUREKA!!! Praise the Lord!
We are starting to get into the fun details and breathing life into my vision! I was getting excited at this point, for the first time, I was actually seeing my book, imagining it in the bookstores, in people’s hands, leafing through its pages; it just became real for me!!
MY RESPONSE: Getting there getting there! So it looks like you have 2 Sams there on the left... Please make the front one carry the staff, taking center stage, so a little in the front, on the left of him, Lisa with grail, in the back the samurai could be a little more samurai like (modern) with a katana maybe above his head,. and instead of Indiana Jones, maybe portray his father (Sean Connery) for Dr Penfield, Scottish scholar... Finally in the back, Davida should be dressed in black (like cat suit), and I think that would be perfect!
CHATS RESPONSE:
I love your refinements! Unfortunately, I can't generate another image right away due to rate limits, and I need to wait for about 23 minutes before creating more. Once the limit resets, I'll be happy to generate the updated cover with:
Sam at center stage, holding Merlin's Staff.
Lisa to his left, holding the crystalline Holy Grail.
A modern samurai with a katana raised above his head.
Dr. Penfield resembling Sean Connery as a Scottish scholar.
Davida in the background, dressed in a sleek black catsuit.
Let me know if there's anything else you want to adjust or add in the meantime!
As you can see the recovery time varies but can be quite long, up to 24 hours sometimes, so it’s very important to plan for this when writing. You need to plan a good day for each image, unless you upgrade your plan for 20$ a month…
I ADDED: So one more thing to add, to make it more harmonious, in the background to the left you could have Jack Carr, former Mi6 agent, holding a plasma pistol...(right background = Samurai with sword...) thanks! Can you redo the cover? With all that in mind...
CHATS RESPONSE:
Got it! That’s going to create a beautifully balanced and dynamic cover. I’ll generate the final version with:
Sam in the center with Merlin’s Staff.
Lisa to his left with the crystalline Holy Grail.
Dr. Penfield as a Sean Connery-like Scottish scholar.
Jack Carr in the left background with a plasma pistol.
A modern samurai in the right background, katana raised.
Davida in a sleek black catsuit in the background.
The whole scene set against a cosmic and mystical backdrop.
I’ll generate the cover once the image rate limit resets. Thanks for your patience—it’s going to be epic! 🚀🔥📚
Alight, so now we are talking; this is one I’ve actually used in a few notes here. Please also note that this was the one I modeled the others afterwards.
MY RESPONSE: Wow! You're nearly there... now you have 2 lisas, hahaha, why does it do that? Please take Lisa in the front out, put the Staff in Sams hands, and the grail in Lisas hand (not the front one...). Also please add Steph Peters (author) at the bottom, not too big...
What did I say about duplicates…?
Also, I loved the idea of putting the Orb of Influence (David) in (or connected to) Davida’s heart. It confirmed the idea that their consciousness and abilities can separate in two, and allow for David/Davida to be on two teams at the time! Of course she would be more powerful integrated, but it is a practical application too; I mean who wouldn’t want to be in two places at once?!
So, after writing some more and working on different chapters, I had an idea to make Davida more Japanese, being in one of their robotics lab and asked it:
Maybe you can make david japanese american looking like her.
Could you redo the cover page?
I provided Chat with an Image of a fit japanese-american girl as an example and of course, it took the whole thing quite literal, and made DAVIDA front and center…
MY RESPONSE: Please take the last image before this one with the whole crew and keep davids orb at davidas heart level chakra, they are more powerful united but can split into 2 when needed. And integrate this face and body type muscular tall... with my name at the bottom Steph Peters Eye of the Beholder 1 - A Story of Remembrance.
MY REACTION was Whoa!!!
So, I might have to update this post, and will be ending it soon, with Book 2, and do a third part on Book Cover 1, which is also quite the Roller Coaster Ride.
Alright, not too shabby…but MY RESPONSE:
OK, real close now, and we might have to wait but could you put Sam in the front with the staff, Lisa to his left, he is the main hero...? I would also like Davida to have the glowing orb of influence on her chest like the other group photo, same black suit, with this face... Also the guy on the left in the back ground should be jack, darker hair Mi6 agent (not japanese)... the samurai sword is a little weird (the arm... on the right)... Last thing, could you make Steph Peters the same color as the Title? Thanks!
Can we say Duplicates…
Ah... so close!!! Lisa (red head) right next to Sam in the front (like Penfield, You have 2 dr penfields... Please make sure you correct that for future images (for all images...), I want Jack in the background left (where Lisa is), and Davida more up front and in focus (like the last one with her)...perhaps make Jack (black hair) a bit scruffier, short beard.... even sam... You have the pyramids twice...
In the background it should be Thoth instead of a man on the left… And last thing Sam holds the staff Lisa holds the grail then it would be perfect!!!
I said no…
CHATS RESPONSE:
Got it — let's get this absolutely right.
Here's a recap of your final tweaks for the Book 2 cover ("Eye of the Beholder 2 - The Search for Thoth"):
Sam: Front and center, holding Merlin’s Staff (make it longer and more visible).
Lisa: On Sam’s left, holding the Holy Grail (she’s the redhead truth-seeker, not scholarly).
Davida: A bit more forward, wearing the black catsuit, with a muscular, athletic Japanese-American look, and the glowing Orb of Influence on her chest.
Jack Carr: In the background left, dark hair, former BBG/MI6 agent, with a scruffy short beard.
Dr. Penfield: Scottish scholar with glasses and fedora — just one version please (previously there were two!).
Thoth: A shadowy figure in the background on the right.
No duplicates of any character.
Title Font: Keep it as is.
Author Name: “Steph Peters” at the bottom, in the same color/font as the title.
So close now I can feel it!
ME: You made a double again Thoth is not in the background Longer staff I want it in our face It’s Merlin’s staff 6-7 ft long
After more exchanges, there are a lot of them, CHAT GAVE ME THIS:
✅ Book 2: The Search for Thoth – Final Cover Checklist
Foreground:
Sam: Rugged, short beard, center stage, slightly pointing Merlin’s 6–7 ft staff forward so the glowing orb is near the viewer
Lisa: Red-haired, athletic, standing beside Sam, holding the crystalline Holy Grail
Davida: In sleek black catsuit, feminine curves, now more forward and visible, holding a plasma rifle
Mid-ground:
Dr. Penfield: Scottish historian, round glasses, in the background left

Jack Carr: Short beard, dark hair, plasma pistol in hand, in the left background, now an ally, standing aligned with the group
Background:
Thoth: Shadowy, mystical figure now added to the right background
Backdrops:
Chinese pyramid
Japanese garden
Azores islands (misty, ethereal backdrop to suggest distant mystery)
Title & Placement:
Title: Eye of the Beholder 2 – The Search for Thoth
Author: Steph Peters at the bottom
And we have a winner!!!
Longer post than I expected again, but as much as this was an exciting process, it took over a week and a dozen or so tries to get my vision on paper!
Hoped you liked this article, and make sure you pass it around!
Here are a few Extra Customization Ideas when creating that perfect prompt for your vision:
If you want more mystery: Add "fog swirling around their feet, hidden symbols on ancient walls."
If you want a sci-fi touch: Add "subtle futuristic glyphs glowing on artifacts, energy pulses through the ground."
If you want a powerful energy feel: Add "golden beams radiating from the Eye, the staff crackling with electricity."
Let’s stop it there, and will do Book Cover 1’s evolution in a few days, and then share Chapter 5 (and maybe 6) in a post for next weekend!
My longer post on Consciousness will have to wait until Book 1 is done!
If you haven’t read Chapter 1 yet, what are you waiting for?
Eye of the Beholder - Chapter 1
AI’s conclusion: Eye of the Beholder is more than a book—it is a blueprint for awakening. Through a compelling adventure and deep spiritual insights, it aims to shift perspectives and ignite transformation in readers.
I sometimes yell at Chat! 🤣 you were patient and good natured about it. But this is a great post about how we are learning to use this tool. And the cover looks amazing! Good job to you and Chat.
Thank you for sharing. I’ve learned a lot of the parts I needed. Communication skills depend on our state and our ability to recognize our own shortcomings.🙏🌷
